About FANS WELCOME

The UEFA European Championship for men promises not only exciting matches but also a unique experience for fans and visitors from all over the world from June 14 to July 14, 2024. Contributing to this is the fan and visitor support program of the KOS, funded by the Federal Ministry of the Interior and for Homeland (BMI).

Under the motto "FANS WELCOME," central meeting points are being established in the ten host cities, serving as hubs for all fans during the tournament. "FANS WELCOME" is aimed at fans with and without tickets, as well as anyone interested in UEFA EURO 2024, providing them with information about the tournament, the host cities, and the various fan cultures. These meeting points are not only places for information dissemination but also invite national and international fans and residents of the host cities to engage in contact and mutual exchange about the "simplest language in the world, football." The meeting points are run by local fan projects and organized in close cooperation with the KOS, the host cities, and the EURO 2024 GmbH. Intensive cooperation between the KOS and Football Supporters Europe (FSE) makes the fan messages of the participating teams another integral part of the fan support program for UEFA EURO 2024.

What makes the meeting points unique is the expertise of the fan projects, which are familiar with the world of football fans. They "speak" their language and thus have a keen sense of addressing the needs and problems of fans individually. At the same time, they possess a deep understanding of the peculiarities of local fan culture. The "FANS WELCOME" program demonstrates that UEFA EURO 2024 is not only a sporting highlight but also a celebration of diversity, hospitality, and a lived culture of welcome.
